- HardieWrap’s composition allows your home to breathe, which helps to avoid the buildup of mold and mildew. This feature also allows moisture to escape, preventing swelling that could warp or “gap” the exterior siding layer.
- GreenGuard is terrific at repelling moisture and preventing it from seeping into substrate and, from there, into your home.
Your choice of moisture barrier depends on the type of siding you choose, the climate conditions typically experienced in your area, and your budget. But please include a budget item for a moisture barrier in order to protect the investment you have made in your home and your new siding.
